In asnswer to this question and considering the advantages and disadavantages I can offer the following solution that will should make both sides happy: Simply put out the reviews as you have been doing lately and then have some other reviewers read these. If, and only if, they decide they disagree with some important points and ratings in the review, then they should add a short rebuttal stating what they disagree with. I personally would love to this done this way.

I think you are very open minded but get your head outa your ass!! Let Manson be what he wants. You probably don't care what he does just as long as he doesn't interfere with you HAPPY life, well, fuck you

Your little article is full of ignorence and stupidity and it's close minded people like you that manson/mansonites hate most! Your old and you suck! Have a nice day! =)

Rev.Manson is a legitimate minister,It is quite obvious that you are not of understanding in what the CHURCH OF SATAN preaches/teaches. If you were of complete understanding in the ubove mentioned you then would understand the antics of the man MARILYN MANSON.So it is wrong fore you to disclaim the sincerity of his work. In the future I suggest that you refrain yourself from commenting on subjects you know nothing about! THANK YOUWhen the true dawn arrives, it will not be golden;the Black Sun shall sear their already blind eyes!

+RE: Tell us about your favourite atmospheric band+If we are talking about atmopsherical doom bands, then I would have to name Anathema. No one else have managed to put out so many awesome albums that sound different yet covering the same sad/sorrowful atmosphere.
However, one of the creepiest and thus most atmospherivc bands has to be Burzum. Every time I listen to Burzum's "Hvis Lyse Tar Oss" and especially the song "Det Som En Gang Var" it gives me creeps and sends shiver down my spine.
+RE: What do you like about atmospheric death metal+
Atmopsheric death metal is probably invented by Europeans. I mean US is more famopus of brutal and aggressive death metal but I think European bands added a whole new dimension to death by adding melodies, different instruments besides the basic ones and so on. Brutal death is fun every now and then to let some steam off but when I am looking something heeavy yet full of moods besides hatred and aggression, I wanna listen to some atmospherical death, which can sometimes be quite close to doomdeath.
+Where did metal come from? Is Black Sabbath the forefather of metal?+
yeah definetely. No one was that heavy and dark in late 60's/early 70's when Black Sabbath started. There were some rock groups that did somethign different and remotively close to heavy metal but Black Sabbath took it to a whole new dimension. Thei stuff is incredibly heavy even these days and it was done over 25 years ago ! They surely kicked ass thne and still do and I bet without them there wouldn't be heavy metal today as we know it.
+Did industrial grow from metal, or techno, or something else?+
I think it grow from metal. Disco is usually quite limited really despite the various genres in it. There are not much guitars in disco but I guess that some metalheads did like the rhytms and machine sounds of disco and wanted to incorporate these same elements to heavy metal making it hypnotic the way disco beat can be but making it also sound heavy and massive.
+Why is there classic doom and doom, and how did the modern version manage to steal the name?+
Black Sabbath is also a very big influence in doom metal and did get quite a few followers in 70's and early 80's like Pentagram , Trouble, Candlemass etc. It resembled heavy metal yet was just slowed down. In late 80's new bands decided to mix newer metal styles to doom makinggenres like doomdeath. To distinct these variatioans, the basic doom was simply classified as classic as it had existed longer and got already a classic stamp.
+When and where did death metal begin?+
I believe that the roots are in bands like Venom, Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Slayer etc speed/thrash but death metal was taking it to even more extreme than just harsh and aggresisve riffings adding low guttural vocals etc. Death was definetely a pioneer in death metal and I even believe that they gave the name for whole genre.
+How did black metal evolve from simply evil lyrics to the distinctive style it tends to mark today?+
Venom. They started it all with Celtic Frost, Hellhammer, Destruction etc. Black metal's roots are pretty much in same bands and styles than death metal but taking it into even more extreme and satanistic. The early black metal did sound like like their idols ie thrash but the modern black metal speeded up tempo and started to use higher agonized shrieks instead of low guttural growlings. Todays black metal is mixing so many different styles, mostly from gothic and doom making it more appealing and easy to get into. New black bands are way less extreme musically and lyrically than the older ones that started to whole thing and like every music style, BM is evolving all the time and going further away from its origins.

Yes, I want to enter in the competition for one major reason, I saw this contest at the end of an interview with my favorite atm. band: TRANSCENDENCE. Why will you ask. I have two major (and really short) reasons:First: They are from my province (Quebec), the best one for great band.
Second: Because when I listen to their music, its like if I was teleported in an other world. I can't really explain why it does this every times, and this is vecause I can't explain that I like it. When you exactly know the felling you have when you hear a good band, there is no fun. But when you can't, this is intellectually, physically and spiritually exiting.
Thats why I like them.
BTW, the label you were not able to say, the french one that distribute them is Adipocere records.

I really like a Hungarian band called Sear Bliss. They have this perfect blend of melody, really depressive atmosphere and harsch black metal. The band uses trumpet, which makes their music sound very dark and suicidal. They can perfectly channel the feeling of flying through the endless coridors of darkness. Their music is cold, but it lives on like a sleeping beauty... you just have to reach for it and it'll embrace you in its gloomy depths. Sear Bliss aren't satanic per se, but they do worship their strange and forgotten gods, dead but dreaming in their slumbers of eternity. Darkest desires are what they dwell on... beware of their everlasting spell, that is withering and grotesque. Enjoy.
