We make an honest evaluation of music and always hold bands -- both underground and more well known bands -- to the highest standards of musicianship. We never give into hype, and thus our reviews are sometimes criticized. Nevertheless, TOC is unique in its sophisticated yet uncompromising treatment of this most technically complex, diverse form of music; music which spans the irrepresible power of speed/thrash/power metal, ventures into the supremely fast, technical and atmospheric realm of death and black metal, explores the intricacy of industrial and delves into the vast spaces of gothic, doom, and folkloric styles.
