nice fucking review on Dying Fetus (the worst deathmetal band ive ever heard). "heavier than suffocation?" yeah right! "good recording?" the instruments sound like toys, and there is no power in the whole cd. stop telling people that horrible wannabe-suffocation bands are good.

Hi, I was surprised enough to find a review of Edge Of Time in Tracks of Creation pages. Thanks!

I think maybe you should get your hands on the paper version of the 'zine before you start bashing it!

Yeah the website may be hard to navigate if your an idiot but everyone else seems to find their way around just fine.

By the way would you rather read interviews with up and coming bands or the same shit that circus and hit parader put out,i mean how many interviews with marilyn manson can you freakin read?

maybe you better stick to readers digest!!

After listening to thrash, death, heavy, gothic and black metal over the years...i am rather dissapointed at the state of metal bands today. Look at bands like carcass, sepultura, kreator, coroner (RIP)and pyogenesis...what the heck happened to the music they are playing? is death metal really dead?

i personally think that more bands should really rethink their approach in making their distinct sound and not sounding like everyone esle or trying to be mainstream in order to sell....

i personally think that the only really good bands around are

  1. cradle of filth
  2. amorphis
  3. dimmu borgir
  4. deceased
  5. Septic flesh
  6. cemetary
Oh! about your web site...nice layout and i think u guys are really helping with the metal scene ....however,,the i dont really like your reviews...they are short and not really informative and appear to be biased!

can anyone get me the pygonesis first ep!? email me at carpathia76@hotmail.com

reply guaranteed....

Hi! Steven Cannon here from Vibrations of Doom Magazine. I was looking at your site and I like a LOT of what I see! It's good to see people stand up and accept metal as a great artform. I run Vibrations of Doom, an internet based music magazine that has been around for 5 years now, and we are one of the ONLY music magazines anywhere to do full scale RealAudio music digitizing for nearly every album we review! (2 songs per album!) This makes our publication unique as we offer reviews for your eyes and actual music for your ears! We invite you to check out our web site at: http://www.kmf.org/~cl/vod_home.html

Realize, of course, that we cover LOTS of different styles and types of music, as we have a very open minded policy here. Gothic, ambient, trance, techno, industrial, punk, hardcore, and more get open minded and fair reviews. We are also asking to see if you can link us up and tell more people about us. Also please be sure and tell us what you think about the site, and we'll try and print your letter in our letters section! Thanks so much for your time.

Steven Cannon, Editor in Chief.

I am a hardcore/metal fan that is stuck in the pit of hell. I live in Charleston S.C. much to my dismay and I can get no info anywhere locally on the good music I am accustomed to. I grew up in Upstate New York, and saw L.O.A. in NYC before they were very big. I saw Pro-Pain somewhere up there too, (too drunk to remember where). I was wondering if there is anywhere on the web or of any magazines that I could get that would keep me in touch with my roots. I would appreciate any help you give me!

P.S. can we start a questionaire on your page to eradicate all these cool bands that keep going mainstream! Pantera!, Life Of Agony, to name just a few. I'm so pissed at Keith and the boys, their new album, Soul Searching Sun, SUCKS!!!! friggin alternative sounding crap!!!!! please respond !

Just a short news to tell you that you should revise your advice about Kult Magazine Online in you 'zine review :

   - I improved loading speed (even if its not an evidence...)
   - There are more different sections
   - Theres a real time jukebox now using streaming MP3s (that are 100%
authorized ! A lot of work only for this!) - I assume 95% of the work
now ('cause I don't have the chance you seems to have : a strong team
     around, gasp !)
   - You can consider the english part as a closed section for now. I'm
waiting the 3rd person who could give a hand to the 2 other who just
joined to re-start the English ed'. I think that working together will
make easyer for them the work needed for this edition...

That's all folks. Waiting for you're new Ed' ! (small note : did you heard the last release of Ramstein ? Your advice?)

C.U. dear friends of Canada !
