Siesta by Aria

(1889, Hans Thoma, 1839-1924)

at last, for years of longing that persisted,
a break in the yearning has appeared,
come through the rapture as I have,
a moment that cannot be described by words,
only with my jubilee and fallen worries,
secure their place in now distant memories,
my mind cleansed and filled with you,
selecting to be discussed, yet nothing be told,
similar text written by one read by two,
united now such paths converged this day,
so long waited, attended for almost forever,
since first embrace of loneliness,
time to wash away the tears and quell such loss,
coupled inside now joined in our body,
at last, this is my meadow to share.
