Introduction
I am trying something a little different again. This time I felt
in order to fully capture the essence of what I an trying to say
I will use a combination of writing styles, verse, novel-like
fiction, newspaper like non-fiction, and whatever I feal will add
to the effect of the story.
Sorrow - A
I look around this sullen earth,
I feel that soon I will leave,
Never to return again.
Death surrounds me,
Pain engulfs my fear,
Kill if need be,
Sorrow is around here.
The men on my left will now errode,
Women on my right will now erase,
Children all around have fallen down,
And the nerves of the earth have been shot.
Why do we stay here,
Begging to die,
Shed another tear,
Swallow another lie.
The ground sinks around my feet,
I fear I cannot stop the descent,
Run, away, from my still warm corpse,
For I will drag you down.
Gather your memories,
There will be no tomorrow,
Die if you please,
And wallow in the sorrow.
Death - NS
Society today is very obsessed with dying and death. All oportunities
we get we spend them debating issues of death. It looks as those
we will be spending a long time arguing about these issues, and I
fear the results will only come with more death.
Anti-abortionists, or pro-lifers, proclaim that abortions are killing
an unborn child. Others argue that the foetus is not yet a child.
Some are so determined that they even kill doctors in order to
stop abortions. The doctors and the patients now fear for their
safety. It has gotten so bad that the BC government declared buffer
zones around clinics and doctors houses.
Many people feal that euthanasia should be considered for terminally
ill patients. Others argue that mercy killing is still killing and
therefore should not be allowed. The issue is mainly assisted
suicides, since you cannot charge anybody for an unassisted suicide
nobody seems to dicuss them in the issue. The [in]famous Dr. Death
managed to make this a mainstream issue, along with the help of a lot
of [mercy] killings.
At any given moment there are people engaged in combat somewhere
on the earth. Occassionally the media gives updates on a few major
fighthing areas, only if that media's country is involved. We live
in a world where killing one person may or may not get you any
media attention. Nobody watches the news to see what good is
happening, we are all a group of disaster tourists waiting to see
this evenings victims.
Serial: Part 1 - ES
I walk the streets at night watching for my next victim. Blue eyes,
long blond hair, 160 to 180 cm in height. Quiet, I see her leaving
work, not it's time for me to do mine.
Serial: Part 2 - ES
She drives away slowly,
I begin the pursuit,
Out to her country house,
Just like every night before,
I can follow close,
She will not notice,
For I know,
That is my job.
She stops at her moderate house,
I pull up behind and get out of the car,
I stand up tall, make myself known,
And watch her exit her own,
She stares at me,
And trembles in fear,
"Who are you, what do you want?",
I do not answer,
I let her be afraid.
She runs for the house and slams the door,
I wait patiently,
For what she does not know,
Is that the night of before,
Her phone lines I did cut,
Her bullets I did remove,
And her fire I did douse.
Let's play a little game,
How about she hides,
And then I'll seek,
Five, four, three, two, one,
Here I come,
Now where could she be,
Don't run out the doors,
For without oil they make terrible noises,
And I don't like terrible noises,
Unless they are from her.
Oh, I know where she's hidden,
It's just so simple now,
As a child she feared the night,
And into her closet she would run,
I bet she is there,
So there I will go.
Whip open the closet door,
Boo, is she afraid,
Yes, her legs are quivering,
She falls to the ground,
Shedding tears as she goes.
I grab her blond hair,
And throw her against the wall,
Now she is unconscious,
And I can begin my work,
First her blue eyes I gouge,
Then her mouth I sew shut,
And carve crosses in her cheeks,
Slice from her, her ears,
Down her nostrils I pour the acid,
What a smell she must have,
Her feet I tie together,
To raise her to the rafters,
Hanging, upside down,
Let the pool of blood form below,
Upon her belly I draw,
With some melted tar,
A pentacle to worship upon,
And light it, make it ablaze.
Now my work is done, and I must go...
Goodbye Old Friend - NS
1994, I was in Grade 12 at the time. We were about a month away from
graduation ceremonies. Our class was small, there were only going to
be about 40 to 50 people graduating. During lunchtime one day a friend,
avid fisherman, drove to the lake to check the water. He never
returned. He was a friend of everybody, he never did anything to
deserve to die. I shed tears the time I heard, but from then I've
never cried again. I will always remember him.
Tears Part 1 - NS
There is no concept of peace in this world...
Tears Part 2 - A
Wade through the waters of a dirty pond,
Run your feet through the slime at the bottom,
Float your arms on the oil on the top,
Breathe in deeply the poisoned air,
Swallow the lies of justice that you have,
And let your mind wander away.
Why am I dead?
Why can't I live?
Who took my life away?
Burning visions of death in the twiglight,
The stars are falling towards me,
I've taken my only life,
And tossed far from me.
Who brought me here?
Why is this my grave?
Where resides my coffin?
Stumble along this wicked earth,
Strive to find any answers,
All you will find are more questions,
Forever engraved in the rock,
That composes your brain.
Why does chaos feed on me?
Why does the world not value my life?
Who is that doesn't want me?
I see my face upon the starry sky,
It shines brightly down to me,
It is not my time to join my soul,
Yet I fear I no longer have a choice,
I take a final look at this earth,
I shed a tear for those left behind,
But don't cry for me, cry for yourself,
My burden is over...
Shallow Thoughts - NS
It's hard to believe that our school didn't want us to remember in any
way the death of our friend at graduation. We did anyways, we wore a
simple loop of white and black ribbon. I don't understand their attitudes,
it's obvious the 14 or so churches and practicing religions in the small
town of 3000 didn't help, maybe we can.
Stay Far From Me - ES
I am not evil,
I am not a god,
I am not good,
I am not a devil,
And I scar just like you.
I am no follower,
I am a man of myself,
I refuse the lies of the damned book,
New, Old and the texts that be,
Spreading wonderful stories of hope,
Written by people just like me,
No god gave them the answers,
They were lies from the start,
Take them as stories, wonderful art,
But to follow them would be insane.
Hundreds of religions on this Earth,
All claiming to be right,
This cannot be, at least one must be wrong,
Too narrow minded to see the truth,
Too stubborn to listen to reality,
Too dead to move.
Rotting zombies wander around,
Divigate their shallow earth,
Trod on the parched soil,
Caress the statue of a god,
And feel it melt away,
This is your life,
Look what it's become,
And watch it fade away.
Read some more verse,
Honour your mammon's lines,
Take another soul from the innocent,
Teach them that they are alive,
And watch as they die.
It's too late,
You're already dead,
Bury yourself down under,
I smell the stink,
From your rotting flesh,
I can the smoke,
From your burning mind,
I can feel the madness,
Of your reign.
Take the honour of my grandparents,
Their bodies are now gone,
You've hidden them far from us,
It's not their fault, it's yours.
Try to steal the mind of a friend,
Take his music, take his pleasure,
Confuse his mind with twisted tales,
Change his friends, make it hard,
I'm so pleased you have failed.
I don't believe your tenet,
Don't propound on me,
Step further back,
You're still not safe,
Give me the chance,
I'll destroy it all,
So you'd better stay away from me.
Violence - NS
I'm not sure what is wrong, but the justice system we have isn't working
to stop violent crimes. Maybe we should be more harse, let's try to send
a message of zero tolerance. If these people cannot live within our
society then maybe they don't deserve to live at all.
I Am A Victim - Aria
Our rules are too light,
Our light is too dark,
Our dark is too thin.
The smoke rises from a candle,
The candle I lit to see myself,
It's myself that has been a victim,
And a victim that will suffer more.
Weigh him on the scales of justice,
Justice seems to be blind,
Blind of reality and the world,
The world I distrust.
Who deciced this twisted fate,
The fate that is my gift,
Maybe the gift is suited to me,
Maybe I'm not the victim.
Confused - IE
I don't get confused, yet this escapes me.
Time To Die - ES
No more chances,
No more understandings,
No more injustice,
No more insanity,
No more warnings...
Fear me, I am a god,
Fear me, I am justice,
Fear me, I am your fate,
Fear me, I am the one who decides.
You've done your crime,
I've seen you've done,
You'll serve no time,
Be served by this gun.
You took his life away,
More than one,
Even death would be too little,
Fair justice is needed,
A month for each victim,
You will be tortured,
Then you'll die by my hand.
You invaded her body,
How do you think it felt,
Comparable to this knife I have,
More than once you'll feel it slide,
Until you feel no more.
Fondle little children,
Your a disgusting person,
What would be fair,
How do I decide,
What would be equal,
This is my side,
Strip you naked,
And feed you to some fireants.
Telecast it all,
Let them know,
I'm no vigilante,
I am the system,
In which you play,
Instill fear in the minds of them all.
Worship me, I decide the order,
Worship me, I am not the only one,
Worship us, we decide your fate,
Worship us, zero tolerance.
Fuck with the system and it's time to die.
The Machine Runs On - NS
Until we try harder, the system will never change.
And On - IE
I came to this world just like you,
I didn't ask for any of this...
The world glimmers before my eyes,
Is it hope I see through this dusk,
Or merely a mirage of my mind.
I did not make this world,
But it is in this world I must live,
I will not complain without reason,
I will not fight without cause,
But I must try to change it,
For the direction the piston that drives,
Is wearing very thin.
Let's not watch our own descent.
The End Part 1 - A
Just as we see the sun in the morning,
We see the end of our life,
Embrace this reality,
Live without fear,
Enjoy your corporeal state,
Don't grasp at illusions,
Look for symbolism,
But don't waste your life looking for what is not there.
The End Part 2 - IE
Imagination is what gives us life,
Creativity is what drives your soul,
All mankind strives to make things,
Those who follow are already dead.
Take this opportunity to create a legend,
Make it the legend of a better Earth,
Give at least yourself some sense of achievement,
And if you desired maybe a few others.
The End Part 3 - ES
You start dying the moment you are born,
There is no need to accelerate this descent.
The Beginning - NS
Every person on this Earth already has a grave dug for them. We all
realize that someday we will die. This is a fact of life that we must
live with. But let's not let it totally consume our existance. There
is too much in life to let it pass by being obsessed with death.
